Are you happy with your Real Estate blog comments rate?

If you are, there is always room for improvement and if you are not, chances are you are not following one of the tips I am presenting today.

Here is my bold claim to you: Getting 10+ comments on your Real Estate blog posts is very doable. In fact, some of the tips you are about to read may sound shockingly simple but they work if (and only if) you followed them consistently.

Real Estate Blog Commenting Tip 1: Ask Intelligent Questions!

If you want to motivate your blog readers to comment on your blog posts, you might as well give them good reasons to do. Nothing works better than asking intelligent questions.

Checklist of Blog-Comments-Stimulating questions

#1 Ask Genuinely Relevant Questions

End your blog posts with question(s) that are relevant to your target market, making sure to touch upon their problems, needs and aspirations.

Be the one who encourages them to open up and share their most burning issues. They will thank you for it!.

#2 Encourage And Invite Reader’s Questions

Create a “Q&A” static page where readers can post questions in the comments that you answer in subsequent blog posts. When you do, make sure to credit the asker and notify them via social channels that you have replied to their questions.

For maximum engagement, try to answer to your reader’s questions on video as frequently as possible.(You can create a textual script of your answers in order to reap some SEO (search engine optimization) rewards as well.)

#3 Ask Questions That Showcase Your Expertise

Invite your readers to comment on areas you are most experienced about. This way, you get a chance to shine like a pro when reply back to them.

In a previous article, I explained that social consumers will approach you after they have already done their homework and became equipped with a wealth of information. You must raise the bar and show them that you know more and that you offer superior services that your competition can NOT match.

One way to achieve this worthy goal is to publish a really good blog post about Real Estate trends in your neighborhood and end it with a question to your readers, asking them to name a very specific area or housing type that they want to get more information about. It goes without saying that you need to prepared to answer their questions which brings to the next tip…

Real Estate Blog Commenting Tip 2: Respond To Comments Thoughtfully and Promptly

All the tips I mentioned above will be useless if you respond to your blog comments every blue moon! Your blog readers are mostly likely potential clients so being a lazy comment answerer could mean losing business!

Social consumers are impatient! Why would they wait forever for your response if your competition is more efficient?

I said it before and I will say it again: Your blog is your evergreen social asset. So it is worth your while to check for blog comments on daily basis and dedicate enough time to respond to them thoroughly.

If you don’t, not only will your commenters feel discouraged to comment in the future but other readers will notice that you are too careless to answer comments. That is not a smart strategy for building readers’ trust if you ask me!

Now that you have taken the time to respond to your commenters’ questions, you need to…

Real Estate Blog Commenting Tip 3: Keep the Conversation Going!

Did you know that blog comments are great ice breakers and conversation shakers?

When you respond to comments, make sure to keep the conversation going by following few tips:

  • End your comment with an interesting question
  • Take some time to check your commenter’s social profiles and let them know you did
  • Dig for commonalities between you and your commenters and share them in your replies

Once you have established a solid bond of trust between yourself and some of your readers, you can broaden your channels of communication and when the time is right, offer to meet them face-to-face.

Do You Dig Why Blog Commenting Matters?

Having comments on your blog posts give new visitors instant indication that your content is worth reading. In addition, it showcases your popularity and social proof.

People wouldn’t waste their time commenting on mediocre content! Strive for exceptional content and let readers know that you care. That’s all you need to have a Real Estate blog that sells. GUARANTEED!

Did I make a valid argument here? Are you fired up with enthusiasm to get 10+ comments on every blog post you publish?

I know you can do it. Just remember to keep me posted when you do! To our success!
